Day 2 of the 2019 WGI Guard Championships has ended, and the competition was fierce. Thursday was the first day of WGI to feature guard from every class - A, Open, and World - spread across four separate show sites, and FloMarching was there to bring you all the action.

Day 2 of the 2019 WGI Guard Championships has ended, and the competition was fierce. Thursday was the first day of WGI to feature guard from every class - A, Open, and World - spread across four separate show sites, and FloMarching was there to bring you all the action.


Scholastic A Semi-Finals:

In Scholastic A Class, 64 guards competed at the Nutter Center for the honor of moving on to Finals competition on Friday, and there were some surprising changeups in placement from Prelims to Semi-Finals. SA competed in six Rounds, so let's take a look at how those Rounds played out:

Round 1:

In Round 1, Blue Springs HS Varsity won the round with their program, "In Lustre," with a score of 92.335, followed by Lockport Township HS ("Falling" - 91.950) and Sebastian River HS ("Hymnsong" - 91.735). All three will be advancing to Scholastic A Class Finals on Friday.
