3 Different Ways To Watch the DCI Tour Premiere - Something For Every Fan!

For the first time ever, drum corps supporters can watch the 2022 DCI Tour Premiere on June 28th in THREE different ways, which means that there's a perfect viewing option for every type of fan! Let's take a closer look at the choices you have, the differences between them, and what type of fan is best suited to each option:

For the die-hard fan:

The only choice for the fan who wants to experience the rush of the return of drum corps in person is to travel to Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan to watch the DCI Tour Premiere live. While not an option for everyone, DCI superfans can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster and experience one of the first live performances of the 2022 season surrounded by other drum corps enthusiasts.

For the fan who loves a sense of local community:

An ideal option for the fan who wants to don their corps jacket and meet other people in their area who also love drum corps is to head to your local movie theater and catch a showing of Drum Corps at the Cinema. This stream, exclusive to select Regal theaters, will feature full show performances in addition to commentary between performances from some of the most well-known designers and writers within the activity. Between meeting other local drum corps supporters, fun and insightful in-stream commentary, and giant tubs of movie theater popcorn, you can't go wrong with this choice.

For the fan who wants to relax on the couch:

The best option for the fan who wants to stay at home and celebrate the start of the 2022 season from the comfort of their own couch is to tune into the DCI Tour Premiere stream live on FloMarching. While the Flo stream will not feature the commentary that the movie theater stream will have, every performance will be streamed with short commercial breaks in between performances. Viewers will also have the option of watching a high-cam or multi-cam feed of the show. Finally, fans can download the FloSports app so they can watch on the go - even if it's just to the fridge to grab a snack.

* NEW THIS YEAR *

During the off-season, the Flo production team has been working hard to upgrade the fan streaming experience, and we're excited to announce that every live show this season, including the DCI Tour Premiere, will be streamed in 1080p! We've also stepped up our audio game, partnering with drum corps audio engineers to request direct audio feeds, improve mic placements, and deliver an improved overall listening experience for our subscribers. We hope you're as excited about these upgrades as we are!
