George C Marshall HS - The Fate of Atlantis
We begin in the lavish gardens of the city adorned with statues of various Greek gods worshipped by the Atlanteans. These gardens are a symbol of the peoples' hubris of which the gods choose to punish through the means of earthquakes. The city and its people sink, forever entombed beneath the waves.

Nixa Junior High from Nixa, Missouri
The Nixa Junior High nSpire Winter Guard from Nixa, MO is one of the ensembles of the Nixa Band Program. The 34-member guard consists of 7th and 8th graders, with many of them new this year to color guard. All members are trained in dance and flag, with some also learning how to perform rifle. Our 2024 program is entitled "Send Me On My Way" and incorporates 1950's style dresses performed on a city map floor complete with vintage suit cases and road maps. The Director of Bands at Nixa is Craig Finger, and the Assistant Directors include Kim Martin, Kirby Spayde, Mary Duerkop and Erika O'Bryant. The Color Guard Director is John Sullivan, and the Color Guard Staff include: Anita Newlan, Shawna Patach, Alyson Rose and Caitlyn Neely.
901 Performance Ensemble from Missouri State
901 Performance Ensemble from Missouri State is one of the three groups of the Missouri State Winter Guard Program which also includes National Avenue from Missouri State and The Pride of Missouri State. Each winter season, 901 Performance Ensemble performs in the Mid-Continent Color Guard Association and Winter Guard International. During the fall semester, the group is part of the 88-member PRIDE Color Guard which performs as a section of the PRIDE Band. Through the years, the PRIDE Band has performed at the MACY'S Thanksgiving Day Parade, Tournament of Roses Parade, Orange Bowl Parade, London New Year's Day Parade, as well as Bands of America events that includes exhibition performances at BOA Regionals and Grand Nationals Championships. Winter Guard at Missouri State began in 1987, with 901 being added to the family in 2002.

The Nixa High School nVision Winter Guard from Nixa, MO is one of the ensembles of the Nixa Band Program. The 21-member guard consists of 9th through 12th graders, and during the fall season they perform as a section of the marching band at all home football games, local and regional competitions, and compete at BOA events each year as well. Belleville East HS- Dystopia
Our show is entitled "Dystopia". The idea behind the show comes from the movie "Mad Max" and the show takes place in a futuristic society that is destitute and depressed. The guard has unique costuming for each individual that comes from the unique punk/gothic feel of the movie as well as having gas masks. The show starts with the "clan" coming out of a run down building that they were foraging. Through out the show, there is an air raid siren that sounds to foreshadow the conclusion where there is a toxic dust the comes and whips out part of their "clan".
