The Hempfield Indoor Percussion Ensemble is from Landisville, PA.

Based on the poem “The House of Asterion” by Borges, the show centers around the Minotaur trapped in the Labyrinth. Longing to escape and slowly falling into madness, Asterion (the Minotaur) awaits the coming of one who will finally set him free.

HIPE was a PSA WGI Finalist in 2022 and 2023, as well as KIDA A Class Champions in 2022 and 2023.
