Aguiluchos Color Guard/ Rockstar Girl

Since 2013, we have participated in some international events, such as Festival Internazionale Bande Musicalie Majorettes in Italy in 2017, China international wind music festival and performance at the “Great wall of China” in 2018, Rose Parade 2020 and in Mexico 2023 at Mictlan International Music Festival

William Townsend - Clockwork Clown
My name is William Townsend. I performed with Broad Run High School from Ashburn, Virginia, USA, for the 2023 marching season, but there wasn't enough interest in a Winter Guard, so I set my sights on WGI's Virtual Solo to keep my skills fresh. This was a crazy step up in my skills, being able to do the choreo that I wanted to do, so thank you for giving me this opportunity. The performance them and title were chosen last minute, but it's supposed to be themed vaguely around a mechanical children's toy or killer clown or whatever else of a similar vein terrorizing a small town. Unfortunately the recording was very windy, which the microphone did pick up, so my apologies on that. Hope you enjoy!
Beth Tapen - Labour
Beth Tapen is from Springfield, Missouri and is performing a mixed equipment solo to Paris Paloma's "Labour". She is a current member of The Pride of Missouri State (23, 24), and has previously spun with National Avenue (20, 21, 22) and directs the Houston High School Color Guard and Winter Guard.

Preston Coppage - Happy Place
"Happy Place" is a twist on the phrase, "practice like you perform." My experiment was to perform like I would practice: turning on music and allow my mind and body wander. This performance was not choreographed or rehearsed beforehand; it is simply me being in my happy place. I am from Guilderland, New York, and pleased to be participating in the Virtual Solo competition for 5 years running.
